Feeding Time

The pups are fed with early stage milk to supplement their mother's feed. Since there are 12 of them ( sorry cant help repeating that) we were advised by our Vet to supplement their milk intake. The milk (which is in a powder form and needs to be mixed in water) also came in handy immediately after the cesarean operation when Xena was hurting and unable to feed them for longer periods.

Royal Canin First Age Milk

The milk was measured 2 oz or 50 ml and poured into regular feeding bottles. We gradually increased the feed each week.

Nothing of course compared to the real deal :-)

The Princess's Pups

Xena, our Great Dane just littered 12 …. yes a dozen pups. We are looking for prospective homes for them. A family that loves large dogs, has the space to give them a reasonably un-constrained life, and the ability and inclination to care and exercise a large dog. The pups , born on 15th Oct 2007 are Bred in India Great Danes with very good lineage.
